Dr. Phu C. Tran is a double board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. His philosophy is simple: deliver a truly personalized plastic surgery experience. Dr. Tran listens to your goals, respects your busy schedule, and focuses on achieving natural-looking results while minimizing complications. He performs the full spectrum of plastic surgery—from cosmetic procedures of the face, breasts, and body to complex reconstructive surgery for cancer, burns, traumatic injuries, and challenging wounds.
Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at University of California San Francisco Fresno and his Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery training at Indiana University School of Medicine. He later returned to UCSF Fresno as clinical faculty and currently serves as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine.
A few fun facts about Dr. Tran – his music playlist in the OR includes Kpop Demon Hunters, Guardians of the Galaxy and 90’s pop. He is also a HUGE fan of comedy and strives to make you feel at ease during your visits, one great joke at a time!
