Fillers and neurotoxins replace the volume that you have lost over the years and help to maintain the structure and shape of your face. AGING changes your face, not fillers. We use neurotoxins and fillers to PREVENT your face from changing for as long as possible.
Fillers can be injected in multiple areas of the face, cheeks, temples, nasolabial folds, lips, ear lobes, marionettes, jawline, chin, bridge of the nose, etc. There are many blood vessels in the face and if injected inappropriately, can cause irreversible damage. When choosing your injector, you want to make sure they are a LICENSED medical professional with extensive knowledge and background in cosmetic injectables. Our licensed Nurse Injectors specialize in the Liquid Facelift.
Avoiding aspirin, all NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatories), vitamin E and fish oil one week prior to your injection will help to decrease the amount of bruising. If you are unable to avoid these medications, your treatment can still be done, but they might increase your risk of bruising. Also, if you have ever suffered from cold sores around the mouth or face, let Dr. Arbabzadeh know so she can prescribe a medication to help prevent cold sores from occurring after your treatment.
You can expect mild swelling and bruising that can last 5-7 days following the procedure.
YES! Dermal fillers and neurotoxins can improve the overall appearance of the face. We also offer multiple Total Face Transformation packages in the office. The type of a result you are looking for will determine the package we recommend. Keep in mind, injectables will not give you the same results as an actual surgical procedure, but they can give you a more youthful appearance!
Treatment is customized to each individual but starts at $1,600. Schedule a consultation to learn more about our recommendation for you.
Injectable fillers are not just for women. Our Nurse Injectors have extensive knowledge with both males and females and can guide you on what fillers would be right for the male face. We have many male patients that come in looking for a more prominent chin and jawline, less heaviness in the mid face region as well as reduced hollowness in the temple region. Most men also look for lip enhancement treatment.
When properly inserted into the vermilion borders, PDO threads create a more prominent vermilion border and help augment the cupids bow.
Dermal fillers help to augment the natural shape of the lip and build volume to enhance the appearance of the lips.
Depending on the product injected, filler can last anywhere between 6 to 12 months. PDO threads can last anywhere between 12 to 18 months.
Avoiding aspirin, all NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatories), vitamin E and fish oil one week prior to your injection will help to decrease the amount of bruising. Bruising and swelling are the most common side effects after lip injections. Bruising and swelling can last anywhere between 5-10 days. We do recommend waiting a full two weeks before adding more filler to the lips to allow for all swelling to completely resolve.
Combined lip filler and PDO thread treatment can cost between $525 – $900+ depending on the type of filler that is used.
Dr. Arbabzadeh uses an inferior pedicle method, which minimizes nipple trauma and scarring.
All breast implants have an exterior sac or shell made of silicone, a rubber-like substance. The implant is filled with one of two substances: silicone gel or saline. For more information on the differences between silicone and saline check our Breast Procedures page.
Oftentimes Dr. Arbabzadeh can safely combine liposuction of the abdominal area to create a more contoured figure.
Liposuction is not a weight loss cure. It is very important to maintain your liposuction results with healthy diet and exercise regimen. You CAN still gain weight after liposuction.
The length of the scar will be determined by the amount of skin that is removed. While scars will never completely disappear they will fade with time. Most scars will take a full year to mature during which time they will sometimes become darker before they begin to fade.
A mommy makeover is performed using a unique combination of plastic surgery procedures designed to counteract the physical effects of childbearing, and restore and enhance your body. Most commonly it includes breast augmentation with or without a lift and a tummy tuck. See more details about a Mommy Makeover.
The best candidate for liposuction is someone who is at or near normal weight with localized areas of protruding fat. Liposuction is not a tool to be used for primary weight reduction.
Adults who are close to their ideal body weight but have excess skin and fullness in their abdominal area are the best candidates. A Tummy tuck may be a good option for patients who have lost a significant amount of weight after bariatric surgery or for women who have gone through pregnancy. See more details about a Tummy Tuck.
All surgical procedures are performed under general anesthesia.
Your surgery will be performed at Women’s Plastic Surgery Fresno inside our state-of-the-art surgery center fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF)
The time a patient needs to take off from exercise depends on the operation performed. All our patients are encouraged to start a slow walking routine around the house on the second postoperative day. Regular aerobic and vigorous activities are not allowed during the first 2-4 weeks in order to decrease the risk of bleeding, swelling, and bruising. Weight lifting and high impact (running) activities are not allowed for at least 4-6 weeks in most cases.
You should not be left alone during the first 24 hours after surgery. During this time you should rest quietly. No showering or submerging the surgical site for 1 week until you are told to do so by Dr. Hedi. Refrain from doing any strenuous activity; accelerating your heart rate for the first 2 weeks. You may return to all normal activities at 6-8 weeks following surgery unless directed otherwise by Dr. Hedi.
